Karen Flores-Padilla is a senior Accounting student at Kennesaw State University with a minor in the Coles Scholars and plans to pursue her CPA. She serves as the President of the Beta Alpha Psi Iota Tau Chapter, where she leads weekly meetings, coordinates executive board operations, finalizes professional speakers each semester, and encourages a sense of community among members while supporting their professional development.
In addition to her role with Beta Alpha Psi, Karen serves as the Treasurer of Women in Finance and is part of the Coles Scholars Leadership Program. She also serves on the Coles College Student Advisory Board, where she represents student perspectives and contributes to initiatives that enhance the academic experience within the business college.
Karen has accepted an Audit Internship at Bennett Thrasher for the summer of 2026, where she looks forward to gaining hands-on experience in public accounting. She currently works as a restaurant server, balancing her academic, professional, and extracurricular commitments. After graduation, Karen plans to enroll in the Master of Accounting degree program at KSU.
